oli virkistävää olla oman alan tapahtumassa täällä. kiitos kiitos! talo oli tupaten täynnä ihmisiä, mutta tilaisuus oli miellyttävä. tänään vuorossa oli museorakennuksen suunnitelleen arkkitehdin näyttely. it was nice to go to a happening related to my own field here. thank you, thank you! the house was full of people, but still the event was comfortable. today there was an opening for an exhibition of the architect who designed the museum building.


viljo revell (1910-1964) suunnitteli mm. lasipalatsin, palacen ja yllä näkyvän toronton kaupungintalon. näytelyssä on hienoja ajanhenkisiä valokuvia ja käsin tehtyjä työpiirustuksia. alakerran mustavalkodokumentti oli hyvä nähdä. siitä sai paljon ja se oli omalla tavallaan myös aika hauska. viljo revell (1910-1964) designed for example the glass palace and palace hotel in helsinki and the city hall of toronto (above). there are great old pictures and hand drawn architectural drawings in the exhibition. it was good to see the black and white documentary downstairs. it gave a lot to think about, some new information and in its own way it was quite funny.
