juhlat -- the celebration

meillä oli pikkuväkeä juhlimassa. kaksi kerhokaveria ja muutama pidemmän ajan tuttu. mukavat pippalot.

we had some little people celebrating E with us. two friends from the club/play group and couple of friends from older times. a nice party.

apinapojan suklaa-banaanikakku. ohje löytyi vanhasta yhteishyvästä. kakun pohja on tehty suklaakekseistä ja margariinista. päällä on paksu kerros jossa on kaikenlaista kermasta banaanisoseeseen. liivatelehdellä yön yli hyydytettyä eli kätevää kun kakun voi edellisenä päivänä tehdä koristelua vaille valmiiksi.

suolaiseksi tarjoiluksi leivoin tällä kertaa minipizzoja. ne tarjoiltiin pikku karjalanpiirakoiden ja tikkujen kanssa, joissa oli kanapyörykkä miniluumutomaatilla tai viinirypäleellä. jokaiselle jotakin.

a monkey boy's chocolate-banana cake. the recipe is from an old yhteishyvä. the bottom of the cake is made out of chocolate biscuits and margarin. on the top there is a thick layer with all kinds of stuff from cream to mashed bananas. set with gelatine over night so it's handy because you can make the cake almost ready the day before the party.

this time for food i made some mini pizzas. they were served with some small carelian pies and with some party sticks that had chicken balls with a mini plum tomato or a grape. something for everyone.

ennen vieraiden saapumista E pukeutui omatoimisesti viittaan ja mustaan silinterihattuun (kuvassa alavasemmalla punainen viitta päällä). hauska pikku mies. nyt on juhlat juhlittu. kyllä näitä juhlia oli odotettu! kiitos kaikille!

before the guests arrived E went and put a cape and a black top hat on (in the picture he is on the left down corner wearing the red cape). a fun little man. now the celebration is over. this party was so much waited for! thank you all!
