matkaan -- to a trip

saas nähdä monelta meillä herätään aamulla. lapset odottavat mahdottoman paljon huomenna alkavaa retkeämme maalle ja mökille. siellä saa olla riippukeinussa, saa paistaa lettuja, saa nähdä serkut, mummin ja ukin ja muut, saa nukkua mökkiparvella ja saa lukea kaikki ne kirjat, joita sai valita kirjastosta kesälukemiseksi. minä lähden matkaan hieman heikkona. eilen olin rintatulehduskuumessa eikä syöminen käynyt. onneksi kuitenkin kuume meni ohi päivässä ja tiehyet avautuivat suhteellisen nopeasti.

mietin tässä että mitäköhän minä itse odotan tulevalta reissultamme? lähinnä haaveilen luonnonläheisyydestä ja lapsien ja miehen lähellä olosta kun ei ole liioin elektroniikkaa matkassa mukana eikä mennä paikasta toiseen tai olla ihmispaljoudessa. leikkipuistossa lapset ovat aika kaukana meistä. mökillä pääsee lähemmäksi. niin ja lasten riemun seuraamista aina odotan. yksittäisen onnea tai vaikkapa serkkujen kanssa leikkimisen iloja. luulempa että odotukseni täyttyvät. kerron teille kuinka kävi kun palaamme.

let's see what time people will wake up in our house in the morning. the children are so much looking forward to the trip we will start tomorrow to the countryside and to the cottage. there you can be in a hammock, can fry lettus (crepes), can meet the cousins, mummi and ukki and the other ones, can sleep up in the cottage loft and read all the books you were able to choose from the library for the summertime readings. i will leave to the trip a little weak. yesterday i had breast infection fever and didn't feel like eating much. luckily though the fever was gone in one day and the milk ducts got open relatively fast.

i'm here thinking that what do i by myself wish from the coming trip? mostly i dream about the closeness of the nature and being near our children and my husband when we don't have very much any electronics with us and we don't go from a place to another continuously or stay in crowded areas. in the play grounds our children are quite far from us. at the cottage you get closer. well and i always look forward to follow the joy of children. the happiness of only one of them or for example playing together with the cousins joys. i think my expectations will get fulfilled. i will tell you if they did when we will return.
