balettia -- ballet dancing

linjoilla taas. täällä sattuu ja tapahtuu ja ollaan siellä täällä, aika paljon vielä veden äärellä imemässä sen kimallusta, rauhaa ja aurinkoa. tänään me tavattiin pitkästä aikaa meidän ystäviä, jotka asuvat kaukana. jännitin hieman miten menee pussin sisällä (=julkisivuremontti), mutta onneksi ei kenellekään tullut pakokauhu, ei yltiöpäinen kuumuus eikä sen suurempi ahdistus, vaikka ulos ei näe.

i'm here again. things happen and we're here and there, quite a lot still by the water sucking it's glimmer, peace and sun. today we met our friends who live far away. i was a little nervous how would it all go in the bag (=facade renovation in this building), but luckily nobody panicked, became too sweaty or anxious although we didn't see outside.

pitkästä aikaa kokkailin pitkään ja hartaasti rauhassa ja nautin siitä. E:kin viihtyi hyvin nuoleskellen taikinalusikkaa ja maistellen milloin mitäkin. maistoi ekan kerran fetajuustoa ja sanoi että hyvää, vaikka normaalisti ei tykkää juustoista edes leivän päällä.

after a long pause i cooked at length and earnestly and enjoyed it. also E got on well by licking the dough spoon and tasting this and that. he tasted some feta cheese for the first time and said good even if normally he doesn't like cheese even on bread.

jälkiruuaksi mehevää omenatorttua ja vaniljajäätelöä. tuossa taannoin esittelin raparperitortun ohjeen, jota kokeilin nyt omenan kanssa. oikein hyvä.

some moist apple tart and vanilla ice cream as a dessert. some time ago i introduced the recipe of a rhubarb tart which i tried out now with apple. quite good.

ilta huipentui lasten esityksiin. olipa innokkaita esiintyjiä. jonottivat aina vuoroaan. välillä nauroimme mahat kippurassa. jopa isät inspiroituivat esiintymään. toinen balettia ja toinen maahan kuolleena kaatuvaa.

the evening culminated to the children's performances. what enthusiastic performers. they queued for their turn. sometimes we couldn't stop laughing. even the fathers were inspired to perform. one did some ballet dancing and the other one was a dead man falling to the ground.
