onnenpäivä -- a happy day

tänään suunnilleen silloin kun S oli tämän puun alla syntyi ystävälleni vauva! enkä minä tiennyt mitään. tänään oli monella tapaa kaunis päivä: tuo uutinen poikavauvasta, paljon perheen yhteistä aikaa ulkona auringossa ja illalla vielä pariisinvieraita. kovin kaivattu siivous jäi tekemättä, mutta ryhdistäydytään me vielä alkuviikosta ennen leikkaussalia.today about this time when S was under this tree a friend of mine got a baby! and i didn't have any idea. today was a beautiful day in many ways: this news about the baby boy, lots of family time outside in the sunshine and even guests from paris in the evening. a much needed vacuuming of this house is still missing but we will pull ourselves together in the beginning of the week before the surgery.
