toipilaspäivä -- recovering

M pääsi tänään kuoroharjoituksiin kun minä sain auttajan jipii ja nämä ihastuttavat kaksinkertaiset pannulaput! sain myös hömppäluettavaa raamattuni rinnalle niin pysyy elämässä tasapaino :). M was able to go to the choir practise today since i had a helper and these lovely double layered hotpads! i also got some light reading to have along with my bible so life will stay in balance ;).

pääsin lasten kanssa ulos ystävän avustamana. tassuttelimme ilmaiselle hernekeitolle. hieno masiina tuo armeijan soppatykki (kuvan otti BG). tänään tuli kuulemma 70 v. täyteen talvisodan päättymisestä. the children and i had a chance to go outside with the help of my friend. we walked slowly to have some free pea soup. a fancy machine this army soup boiler (picture taken by BG). today it's 70 years since the winter war ended.
välillä lepään tai nukun ja mieheni kantaa ruokaa sänkyyn. välillä pyykkään ja koitan liikkua, jotta paranen nopeammin. leikkaus meni melko hyvin, jotain säätöä siinä oli, mutta ei onneksi ole tullut tulehduksia. hartiapisto on tällä kertaa ollut aika paha. i've been resting and sleeping and my husband carries some food for me. or i do the laundry and try to move around so i would get healthy soon. the surgery went quite well. there were some little extra things that happened but luckily i have not gotten any infections. the shoulder pain has been quite bad this time.
